Burnout 3 has been out for a good LOADING year already. I’ve had it for that long. I PRESS A TO CONTINUE didn’t like it that much. Couldn’t put my finger on LOADING why.
LOADING Most reviews have PRESS A TO CONTINUE been very positive LOADING. Makes me wonder whether I’m playing the same Crash Mode as them.
I, PRESS A TO CONTINUE however, would like to offer LOADING some constructive criticism about the LOADING game, on Xbox.
In LOADING short, the LOADING thing takes too LOADING long to actually PRESS A AND WAIT FOR NO REASON, THEN PRESS A AGAIN TO SIGNAL YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS get to the point where you can LOADING spend your thirty seconds of fun LOADING actually playing the PRESS CONTINUE TO DROWN OUT THE ANNOYING ANNOUNCER THAT JUST REPEATS HIMSELF HAHA YOU JUST WASTED ANOTHER SIX SECONDS game.
Plea to game developers: You might have made the most fun, enjoyable game in the world. But if you make me click through countless screens and waits just to get to the pointy end, I’m not going to stick with it. Takedown, on reflection, sucks, because it has a thoroughly broken user interface. The driving is a hoot, but Crash Mode, which is the really fun part, is crippled by its insistence on confirmation clicks, and waits, and clicks, and waits, and confirmations, and toggles, and…
All up: Burnout 3: Takedown is pretty much relegated to being a party game. Okay when sharing a wait with others, but I wouldn’t inflict it on myself again.
Thanks to this post I went out and bought B3:Takedown and I have not looked back. The game is pure instant fun. Guy fun. Racing forgiving cars around perilous tracks and smashing the opposition off the road is where it’s at, to me. My brothers and I have been exclusively playing the multiplayer mode “Road Rage”. In this mode you “race” against your opponent and a number of AI cars. The object is to smash 10 cars off the track, or be the last to be demolished.
My brother Aaron has been secretly practising in the single player mode and has stolen my title of Ultimate Champion of the Universe. I intend to correct this soon.
