The midnight launch means that there’s only one sleep until XB360. In 28 short hours, I’ll be buying the latest in gaming console technology, and then quietly playing its guts out for Thursday and Friday.
I’m excited. I get to play PGR3 and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter. I get to hook it up to my Media Centre as an Extender and watch streaming TV, without having to wait until it’s finished recording as I do with the PC-based viewing method. Why there’s no software extender beats me (even MCE/MCE soft extender would be better than none). But I’ve digressed – I just want some quality time with my new console, on Live. It will – how you say? – kick arse. and much of it.
so…I am not doing anything Friday…
Well, you are now.
So…. I came here 7 days after you now have a 360 and still no update. Can’t you use a keyboard anymore?
Look, I’m really sorry about that. But there’re only so many hours in the day, and I’ve been spending more playing than I’ve had time available to blog…
GRAW: good, but multiplayer is a bit iffy when you end up in a US-based match.
PGR3: fantastic precision racing, weird menu UI issues and multiplayer lobby design decisions aside.
Burnout Revenge: Pretty fun, in a cackling insanely while running your opponents off the road sort of way.
