If you’re finding yourself a little disappointed that you can’t squeeze 1600×1200 out of your new 19″ LCD, despair no more!
By sacrificing the odd pixel, you can experience the squintiness that you so justly wanted to remember.
Simply open Display properties (right click the desktop and choose properties), click Settings tab, Advanced button, and change the resolution to 75% of normal size.
One reboot later, everything will be really small, making your monitor feel really, really big again.
