Did a quick run-through of JB and DSE Powerhouse today. DSE are getting heavily into Bravia promotion, and had a 40″ S-series on display, which was impressive (and about $5200), but the sales guy suggested waiting for the V series (which according to their website is about $500 more expensive, but does HDMI and has some sort of intelligent picture engine (warning, warning! Trust no picture “enhancement” technology unseen!).
Sony don’t have a 37″, which is a pity, it’s about right for my living room (and much better for my budget).
